We have the prerequisites, but we need to recruit additional competent staff and look forward to your application.

We are responsible for the operation and maintenance of the municipality's water and sewage network – a vital function that affects all residents every day. Our operations are in a development phase where we work to strengthen cooperation between different roles and create even better structures for planning and implementation.

Water is our most important food, and we work with pride to ensure that every resident has access to clean and safe water. We also have a strong focus on sustainability and future water solutions, where we constantly seek new ways to develop and improve our operations.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As part of the water operations, you will work with preventive and corrective maintenance of the municipality's water and sewage pipes. The tasks are varied and include everything from emergency interventions in case of leaks to planned maintenance work and installations.

Unlike many other construction jobs, work within municipal water requires that you are not only practically skilled but also have the ability to document and search for information in our management and documentation systems. You need to be able to prepare the right documentation before a job, such as which valves need to be closed and whether there are operational notes, and after the work is completed, register measurements, operational notes, and photos. This is an important part of relieving the supervisor and ensuring quality in our operations. You will work closely with our supervisor and other operational staff, mostly out in the field where the work takes place.

Scheduled on-call duty may be included in the position after the employer has deemed it appropriate.

QUALIFICATIONS

We see that you have relevant education in operations/construction/maintenance work within water or similar. You have experience in water work, construction, or other technical activities and enjoy working practically in the field. You are structured, follow routines, and have basic computer skills as well as experience working in digital systems for documentation and information retrieval.

You are solution-oriented and can handle both planned tasks and emergency interventions. If you have experience with machinery, welding, or pipe laying, we consider that an advantage. Good IT skills are also an asset.

For the position, you must have a good ability to work independently as well as in close collaboration with other employees. We will place great emphasis on personal suitability.

A valid driver's license (B) is required for the position.

With us, you will have a vital job with great variety and good opportunities for development. We invest in competence development and offer training in water technology, while you have a secure employment with benefits according to the municipality's agreements.

You will be part of a team with a strong desire to succeed, where we together build a culture characterized by cooperation, quality, and pride.
